Saving Outlook 'configuration'

I've had to rebuild my machine several times over the last 18 months.

In preparation, I copy my Outlook.pst file to a safe place, and then
overwrite it on the rebuild machine. This recovers my
emails/calendar/contacts, but my general Outlook settings and email account
settings have to be reconfigured manually.

Is there a simple way to go about this?
