Imagine a situation where someone is filling in an html
form and needs to either pass it to someone else to finish
off or come back to it later.
Trouble is, every time you open up the web page, all
fields are emptied (unless they have fixed or derived
initial values).
Is there a way of saving the field values at the point
where you have got to and repopulating when the web page
is re-opened later.
This sounds to me as if you need to create some kind of
cookie file etc. on the users client which sound messy.
Can you help?
