Saving .PPTX file as .PPT. Blocked by regestry settings.

Greetings:

I am using PowerPoint 2003. One of my team sent me a presentation in
PowerPoint 2007. When I try to save it as a .ppt file the message tells me
that his is blocked by registry settings. What can I do to remove this block?
