This is urgent.
I recently migrated to Leopard from XP SP2. I also got Office 2008.
I open my XP-created powerpoint files just fine. I changed a couple of them and tried to save them as .pdf (Cmd-p and then print as pdf) and the resulting pdf file comes out more than 10 times as large as the .ppt file. From 3 MB to 40MB! Amazing!
tried saving .ppt to .pptx before saving in .pdf, it made no difference.
Please help me. In XP, the pdf was a lot smaller than the .ppt - almost 1/10 the size.
