Is Excel able to save files as semicolon-delimited?

Whatever app it is that wants semicolon-delim files: delete it and get
something which conforms to universal standards.

Excel 2008 can save tab or comma delimited format. There's a whole bunch
of other formats including .dif you will find in the Format pop-up of
the Save-As dialog box.

Most programs that open delimited files can open a variety of different
formats. If worse comes to worst, save in comma or tab delimited format,
then try opening the resulting file in Word. Use Find and Replace and
replace the delimiter with a semicolon and save the file as text only.
No guarantees, but it should work.
