SAVING VERY Slow

Only my office word, not excell, or a dozen other programs
is saving very slow.

When you save a srinking box shows up on the window and
then you wait for about 10 seconds for word to respond.
I unloaded office and reloaded office, scanned for
viruses, and scan system with ad-award and spybot.
HELP ! does any one have any idea

Hunch: Disable your anti-virus add-in which scans Word doc's.
