Saving Visio diagrams as jpegs.

I am compiling a PowerPoint presentation where I am showing Visio flow
diagrams on some slides.
I am currently saving the Visio diagrams as PNG images as the Jpegs have the
background in black. if I use the picture toolbar I can remove the black
background but this reduces the clarity of the diagram too much.
Is there a way of using Visio diagrams in the Powerpoint so that the images
are small files but with good clarity?
Ultimately I will be using the PowerPoint via Microsoft Live Meeting.
I had thought of using hyperlinks to the Visio files which would reduce the
size of the PowerPoint but it could get clumsy when recording the training
session.

you might consider trying to do a paste special as visio object.

Hi, unfortunately I do not have the full Visio application on my machine.
This is unlikely to change. Because of this MS Office only allows me to
paste special as a MS Office drawing object which is no real difference in
size to the PNG I'm currently using. Thanks for the idea though.
