Scaling drawings in Visio

I have vectorised a drawn garden plan (using WinTopo) and imported the
resulting .dxf file into Visio Professional 2003, and converted it to Visio.
The plan, on A3 paper, is to scale, 1 : 75, and is about 30 ft by 100 ft on
the ground. How do I tell Visio this so that I can use a dimension line to
read off measurements?

you might check out the file => page setup for page scaling

This seems to work fine, provided I set up the page first - drawing page
size = real life size and custom scale - and then paste the converted Visio
drawing onto it and drag a corner to make it fit.
