Scan Record Related Documents Through Access

Hi,

Is it possible to scan documents through access? What I have in mind is as
follows.

I have a contracts database where each contracts can have modifications
through out the life of the contract. On my modification subform I have a
field that is for the attachments. This is a hyperlink to the scanned
modification form. What I like to be able to do is when I add a new
modification to the contract I want access to prompt me to scan the
modification form. I would like it to save the form in a pdf format in a
specified location and then add a hyperlink to the file in the attachment
field.

Possible?
