Scanned documents in a Word manual

Bobbie Jean

I have scanned numerous documents into my Word manual. I want the typed
description to be on the left page and the scanned reports to be on the
right. Not all pages are equal length. The scanned documents had to be
"rotated" 90 degrees to appear as I wish. Everything landscape. When
printed, all the typed materials (on the back of the scanned documents) were
upside down! Help! This manual is 255 pages with a front and back cover
printed on cardstock. The first 11 pages are portrait.

Your printer Properties probably have a setting that governs which way the
paper is "flipped" when you duplex.

I had a similar problem on a document -- especially with an 11x17 page
incorporated into a document of mostly 81/2 x 11 portrait pages. The fix I
found is to format the image "upside down" in the original document -- and it
printed correctly the next time.

Just a thought.
