I have a lot of *printed *accounting spreadsheets that I need converte
into Excel files. I have been able to scan them as TIFF and recogniz
it as text using OCR, but there are so many files, it would b
extremely tedious to just keep copying and pasting each individua
item. Copying the entire file at the same time and pasting into exce
yields a jumbled mess. This being an accounting spreadsheet means tha
there are not nice, clean columns with which to work, but slightl
offset columns due to credit/debit accounts.
Do you guys have any suggestions for a good program that can conver
scanned files into excel, while keeping decent formatting? Thanks
