scanned signatures

hey all,

do scanned in signatures of people carry any weight as far as legal issues.
Like for instance I scanned my signature in and added it to my signature in
Outlook and I noticed anyone can capture that.

As you observed, anyone can scan and apply it, legality would be a
matter for the legal system.
