Scanner Event with Office Document Imaging

Is it possible to create a Scanner Event (Control Panel > Scanners & Cameras
Scanner X > Events) for Office Document Imaging?

My scanner (Canon CanoScan N650U) has a button. Under "Control Panel >
Scanners & Cameras > CanoScan N650U > Events" there exists an Event "Canon
Push Button" and several events for different scanning enabled applications,
but nothing for Office Document Imaging/Scanning. Is it possible to wire up
the scanner to automatically launch Office Document Imaging/Scanning on the
push-button event?
