Scanning legal paper

Hi, I was once able to scan legal sized documents on my scanner until I had
to reset my hard drive about 2 months ago. Now office isn't letting me scan
8.5x14 sized documents. It won't scan anything larger than letter paper.
Any input?

You probably need to investigate the scanner settings (read the setup
info and documentation). Office only uses what it gets.
