Scanning Text into Work

Louis

Good morning:

I am running MS Windows XP SP2 level and the application
suite MS Office XP Professional with Front Page. Hardwat
is the hewlett-Packard G 85xi all-in-one.

Navigating on my desk top to Assessory Folder, I selected
the tab for scanning and camar. The results was 4 pages
of unreable character with a TIF extention.

Any idears on how to scan directly into Word or some
other text editable software.
Best regards,
Louis

You've scanned the document as a picture. You need to scan it as text using
the OCR app provided with your scanner or Microsoft Office Document Imaging.
