I have outlook 2003 working on Vista, yesterday I moved my in use pst file to
a different computer while outlook was running. When I tried to run outlook
it told me it couldn;t read files and I didn;t have access. I chnaged my mail
settings to a different pst folder and it orks but the othher folder is the
one I want. I read a lot online and everyone said to do scan pst but it is
not on my computer, how do I get it? Do you think this will resolve issue?

Look in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\SCANPST.EXE" or your
equivalent.
If not there, do a file search - it may be flagged as a system, hidden, etc.
file.

You should be able to find it via Start -> Programs -> Microsoft Office
-> Microsoft Office Tools -> Inbox Repair Tool.

%CommonProgramFiles%\System\MSMAPI\1033\scanpst.exe is the file for Outlook
2003, but it should be in your Start menu under Microsoft Office Tools or
Microsoft Office>Microwsoft Office Tools as "Inbox Repair Tool".
