scanpst.exe

I bought MS Office 2007 student and installed in February. April, I
purchased MS Outlook 2007 and installed. According to what I am finding on
the MS help board, the scanpst.exe file should have been installed from your
first office disk. I also do not have a 'repair in-box' under accessories.
All are running under VISTA Home 32 bit. How or where can I download this
file?

yes I have, and I made sure the hidden files boxes were unchecked. I have
no problem searching for the pst file; but, can not locate the scanpst file.
Was wondering if I need to download it from somewhere because I installed
office and outlook individually

Thank you so much. I found it, ran it, and fixed errors. Will let you know
if the problem I'm having goes away!

If scanpst finds errors and repairs them, run it again. When you can scan
your pst without finding any errors at all then it should be good to go. You
may find on occasion you have to run it multiple times.

SCANPST.EXE should be in %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office12 for your
version of Office.

Thank you so much for the information. I have now created a new mail
profile and ran scanpst.exe until it comes up clean.

I'm still having problems with sending mail if I send to more than one
person from my contact list. The email stays in the outbox and says "this
email is not sent yet". However, the email has actually been sent because I
always bcc to myself. If I move the 'unsent' email to the sent folder, the
number next to the mailbox (1) eventually disappears however if you view the
message, it still says that the mail has not been sent.

Do any of you have any more suggestions for me to try?

Thank you
