Schedule and PWA task view don't match

I've seen a task deleted from the schedule still showing up in PWA's task
view. I've also had a task in the schedule that doesn't appear in PWA's task
view even after I've republished the task. Any explanations so I can avoid
this in the future?

The first scenario is typical. Deleting a task in Project marks it in PWA,
however it does not delete it. This is by design so that resources know what
happened to the task that was there yesterday. In the second case, it sounds
like there might be some corruption in the task record, but other
explanations might surface with more details.

Hello,

I have seen this happen a few times, where date in the project schedule
was different from the data in PWA. The was to resolve the problem was
to 1) open the project schedule from the server (the suspected corrupt
version), then File >> Save Offline. Close the "offlined" project
file, then re-open the file (File >> Open and select the Offline file,
then File >> Save Online >> Save the changes that were made offline.
Using this approach usually corrects the problem.
