Schedule e-mail reminder service

Our 2002 installation appears to generate e-mails
properly for new or modified assignments but does
generate the reminders. Apart from setting the time of
day when this service should run, are there any other
settings that need to be made to get this to work.

You need to either logon directly to the server or
terminal service to the server or have your network
administrator do this for you. Go to Administrative Tasks
and select Services. From there, you will see 3 services
begining with MS Project Server. You should then be able
to determine if the one service you need is inactive. You
then need to activate the service for the reminders to be
generated.
