Schedule freezes on publishing 2003

Hello,

I have a schedule on that I cannot publish. Each time I "Publish
All", the CPU resource peak & hang @ 100% and the schedule freezes.
I'm using Project Server 2003.

I've tried to save the schedule offline, then save online, as this has
worked in the past, but not for this schedule. It's about a 250 line
schedule.

Any suggestions?

Try saving off as an .mdb, .xml, or .mpd and then saving back to .mpp

Sometimes this will clean up some data issues in your plan. Be aware this
is a long shot though.

Jonathan:

Your recommendation to save as XML is the best strategy. Unfortunately, we
need to then force a rebuild of the binary record using the technique in the
link below, because the XML save in 2003 creates excessive file bloat.
