One of my teams wishes to schedule work at a monthly level: the resource
will spend 5 hours on Task A in May, 5 in June and 8 in July. I am trying to
figure out the easiest way for the Project Manager to do this and to maintain
it.
I've tried using the Task Usage and Resource Usage views for this purpose.
It works initially but if I have to Sync to Protected Actuals, all of the
adjustments are lost and the allocation of work by month returns to its
original state. Is there anything I can do differently to make this work?
