Scheduled Active Directory Synchronization doesn't work

We have some troubles with scheduled AD synchronization with MOPS 2007.

This error was appeared without visible reason. We have the following error
in Application log:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

This error is appeared after scheduled Enterprise Resourse Pool
synchronization.
If we run AD synchronization manually it works well.

I search for resolving but I cann't find a solution.

Does anybody knows how to restore successful automatic synchronization?

I have been in the exact same situation, it seemed that the owner of
the active directory sync-queue job, was'nt active.
I ended deleting the user from resources in pwa, because that user
wasnt needed.
I guess that the owner of the scheduled job should be blank, as it
turned out after I deleted the user.

The owner of the job shows up in the queue as the person who last configured
the AD Sync. If I login with my personal account and configure AD Sync,
and get it running, then it will run under my name in the queue each day.

If you delete me from the user pool, my guess is that the owner would appear
blank.

To keep things clean, you should be logged in as the FarmAdmin to configure
AD Sync.

Thanks for the answers!

I found the solution im my case.
The account which run Timer Job service must be in resource pool of Project
Server. But I'm confused with such fact. It was worked for some time.
