Scope of searches in Outlook

What types of attachements (if any) are being searched in Outlook 2007
searches?
Are encrypted items searched as well?
Thanks for info, could not find it elsewhere.

Windows Desktop Search Options on your task bar (right-click on the
magnifier), click on Advanced and select File Types. Here you can configure
if you want to INDEX only the properties or properties and file contents.
Are encrypted items searched as well?

That's a good question, I don't know exactly. I have heard that it is
possible but did not see yes.
