Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi,
I have a big problem with a chart I have created a simple chart with this values:

X Y
1.13700 0.39213
1.46200 0.23851
1.63300 0.13124
1.87500 0.04913

and I add a trendline , when I extract the formula the scope value and the interceptor value are wrong, If I try to calculate the same value with excel formule (SCOPE - INTERCEPTOR) I obtain a correct value.

Do you have an Idea why I have different value, what can I solve the problem?

Thanks for any suggestion.

I loaded your data into Excel (Office vX), and both the trendline and
the LINEST formula returned

-0.475369499 0.928522882

What did you get, and why did you think it was 'wrong'?

Did you make sure not to force the origin, an option in Trendline?
