Using Word 2003. I use a lot of screen shots in my Word documents. The
screen shots however disappear when I scroll from one page to the next. to
redisplay I have to click in the area where the screen pint is, do a right
mouse click and select "Order --> "Bring to front". Is there anything I can
do to prevent the screen shots from disappearing?

Try reducing Hardware Accelleration:
(Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot Tab).

If that improves the situation it stongly suggests that your video drivers
need to be updated.
