Screen goes green

When opening Publisher 2003 the screen appears normal.
When I close the quick publications box, the working area of the screen goes
green. The toolbars and surrounds stay their normal colour.
I can not see graphics properly as they are too dark, but they print as
normal.
I had not changed any settings before this happened.
