Screen resolution

I prepared a site on a 19" running 1280 x 1024 and have gotten reaciotns
advising theimages are too too big. I am looking at downsizing it and am
seeking your reccomendations of image size and how do I review the new site
effectivey on this machine ? TIA.

change your monitor settings
most users will not be using that hi of a res so all things will look larger
at lower resolutions

click on your desktop>properties>settings>move the slider> choose 800x600 or
1280x768 >say yes to the prompt
now open the page and look
most users may not have 19", use small laptops etc
use tables to keep your page narrow and to the left

Thanks ! I picked 1024 x 768 and it seems to run fine on smaller screens.
