Screen saver turned off by Power Point

Every time I run a Power Point Show (.pps) it shuts off my
screen saver and returns it to (none).

I couldn't find anything in Knowledge Base.

Bob,

When it runs as a slideshow, it should temporally disable it, but not turn
it off. So, what version of PowerPoint and what version of Windows?
