Screen Tips

I have packaged a presentation with associated links / files onto a CD. I have just found out the hard way that Power Point Viewer does not support Screen Tips, but when running the presentation from the CD and the mouse hovers over a hyperlink to an attached file, I see the path displayed ie. "D:/Blahblahblah" instead. How can I turn this off so no information is displayed?

Help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I mucked with this a couple of days ago. You can't get rid of them, unless
maybe with vba somehow.

VBA won't work with the viewer only the full version of PowerPoint.

Sorry, Ash, you are stuck with some sort of hyperlink text, but you may be
able change what is shown using the techniques seen at:
