Screensaver won't work properly & computer is slow to re-act

since my ISP went peculiar three days ago my computer is going slow - delays
in re-acting to keystrokes and mouse movements and clicks. Also the Screen
saver won't pick up pictures from "my pictures" and the 3D box only wokrs
ingreat jumps. Any ideas?

you need to eliminate some
of the possibilities.

firstly, does you pc act peculiar when
you are not connected to your isp?

secondly, does your pc act peculiar when
you are in safe mode?
