All,
Today, when I started Outlook 2003, a script error appeared when the Outlook
Today screen came up (I have the Today screen come up automatically at
startup). The error is as follows:
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 298.
Char: 1.
Error: Class not registered.
Code: 0
URL: Outlook Today
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
I answer yes to the error message and I am able to use Outlook. Each time I
leave and return to the Outlook Today screen, however, I get the same error
message.
I went to support.microsoft.com and found a knowledgebase article on this
issue located at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;329930. I followed
the steps given but the error message still comes up each time I bring up
Outlook Today. I have also tried restarting my computer without success.
Today is the first day I have experienced this issue. I last used this
computer on Sunday. There is another user which uses this computer but he
did not mention any issues with Outlook when I saw him this morning.
This computer has Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 installed.
Thank you in advance,
