Script Error: Line No 1481

B

Bernie

Some of our users have reported recently that they receive a script error,
either when closing an e-mail or closing Outlook itself. A pop up box titled
'Script Error' with 'Line No 1481' int he box. If you click OK, it comes up
again and again until it eventually lets you close the window.
This symptom seems to have appeared on multiple machines all within the past
week. I was wondering whether it might have been as a result of the machines
downloading and installing an Office Update from WSUS...?
Anybody seen this script error before, and any ideas on how to resolve it?

What add-ins are installed? Disable them and see if you still have the same
issue.

This problem is appearing on multiple machines, so there could be different
addins installed on each, but of those I've recently had the problem with,
the list of addins installed are: Symantec Anti-virus, Delegate Access,
Deleted Item Recovery, Exchange Extensions commands, and Exchange Extensions
property pages.

The problem is, the error message is difficult to replicate. It may appear
one minute (when closing an e-mail or Outlook itself) and then not appear the
next, so disabling addins won't necessarily prove anything.

Any other suggestions?
