Scripting issues & uploading

Farilee

I desperately need some help. I uploaded my website successfully in FP 2000.
When I went to check it online (www.farilee.co.uk) none of the links work and
the homepage main image is missing (each page is a series of frames if that’s
relevant). My web hosting people say it a ‘scripting’ problem and they can't
help. If you can, that would be great!

There's nothing there but the default server page and a link to 1and1

your page is here:
http://www.farilee.co.uk/index.html

your "hit counter isn't showing" on the top left and could be because of
lacking FrontPage extensions.
your other pictures such as http://www.farilee.co.uk/chill.jpg aren't
showing because they're not there.
they're not in the http://www.farilee.co.uk/images folder under their names
either.

how did you publish this web.

BTW; it's got nothing to do with a scripting problem and it sounds like you
got some weak support from that host.

I am sure its not anything with scripts but issue lies in publishing you Web
correctly
Please check if you have instances of index.htm & index.html or Default.htm
in the same Web thats the reason your index page doesnt open automatically
after you type your IP Address.
your images are *.jpg ,check its size .... you can even try out with smaller
images or you could probably try changing them to .gifs.... lets try it
Re-Publishing would also work, infact try that first
to identify if the issue doesnt lie on your Webserver side.. you can also
try Free Web hosting eg. www.netfirms.co
