Scripting... security zones question.

M

Mark S.

Using FP2003...

I typically have Active Scripting disabled for
the "Internet" security zone.

With this security setting, scripting does not work in
page Preview. Scripting, for the same page saved to disk
(Local Intranet zone), previewed in the browser works.

Is there a way to enable scripting in page Preview
without having to change IE security settings?

No, as FP uses IE, however you can set it prompt you.

And the Preview Mode is not a full browser (w/ all browser DOM) so no matter what you do w/ IE settings, many scripts will not run
there - use File Preview in Browser
