Scroll bar disappeared

The scroll bar on the right side of the window in word just disappeared.
I have MS Word 2003. I have no idea what I did to cause this. Anyone
know how to make it reappear?

from the help menu in word:
Display or hide scroll bars
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the View tab.
Under Show, select or clear the Horizontal scroll bar and Vertical
scroll bar check boxes.
