Scroll speed too fast

Scott

Here's a simple question I hope someone out there can
answer. When I highlight items and scroll down through a
spreadsheet, the scroll speed is way too fast and I end
up flying way past the items i was trying to highlight.
Is there any way to slow down the scroll speed???. I am
using excel 2002 XP.

thanks for any help you can provide!

There are a couple of things you can do.

- Hold down Shift and Ctrl and use one of the arrow keys.
For example, if your range of data is A1:A35000 and you
are at cell A1, hold down Shift and Ctrl and down arrow.
This will highlight the entire range.

- Use the Go To dialog. Click F5 and type the range you
want to highlight into the Reference box then click OK.

Couple of thoughts:

Enter the entire range in the name box,
b2:e50
And hit <Enter>

Click in the first cell of the intended selection,
Enter the last cell of the selection in the name box,
Hold <Shift>, and hit <Enter>.

Click in the first cell of the intended selection,
Use the arrow keys or the scroll bars to move to the area of the last cell
of the selection,
Hold <Shift>, and click in this last cell.
