Is there any way to change the background color of the vertical and horizontal scrollbars in excel?

anonymous poster,
You can change the color of the scrollbars as long as you do not mean
separate parts like the scroller. Such changes will affect the color of
the worksheet tabs and background on menus as well, and it will
affect your entire system. Before making any such changes to your
Control Panel, Display Settings, would suggest you backup your
current settings within Display so you can fall back to them easily
because it can be hard to tell what you actually changed. See

Yes, I thought that is what you might have meant
and is why I mentioned the scroller portion. Just to be
clear you can't change that separately that I know of.

<soap box>.
Although I have seen this in HTML and did not like it , they reversed the
wrong part (IMO), though I probably would not like working with something
so far out of the ordinary. It things in HTML get horrendous you can frequently
undo their good (but misguided) intentions with a bookmarklet.
