Search and Views in Outlook BCM

Erik

Is there any way to do a full search of BCM items? If I have a business note
with the workd "sample" in it is there any way to search through everything
and have the business notes with the word "sample" show up?

Seems searching and views do not allow you to access BCM items like Business
Notes - I can not setup a veiw of business projects to group by Business
Contact they are linked to.

Just want to know if I am missing something or if that is just a limit of
the software. Thanks.

Part of your question might have been answered on the team blog:

You can search the Communication History folder for Business Note contents.

To view Business Projects, grouped by Business Contacts to which they are linked, select from the menu:
1.) "View | Current View | Define Views..."
2.) Select the "[Business Projects List]" view and click "Copy..."
3.) Type a name for the new view (e.g. Business Projects by Linked Contacts) and click "OK"
4.) Click "Group By..."
5.) From the "Select available fields from:" drop-down at the bottom of the dialog, select "User-defined fields in folder"
6.) From the "Group items by" drop-down near the top of the dialog, select "ParentDisplayName", then click "OK"
7.) Click "OK" to close the view customization dialog
8.) Click "Apply View" to see your Business Projects grouped by linked Contacts

Hope that helps.
