I'm editing a long, turgid document where the author(s), occasionally, slips into present tense inappropriately. Is there a way to use wildcards in a search to find "applicant" followed by a word ending in "s"? That will find most of the issues, and give me some peace of mind.

Thanks in advance.

In Word 2007 I use applicant *s and check the "Use wildcards" option under the "More>>" button. (note the space after applicant)
