Search Box and Find/Replace Issues

After I imported data from another table, both the search box and the
Find/Replace function stopped working. If I try to enter parameters to search
for (i.e. "Houston" or whatever), it gives me the error "string invalid".

The functions worked fine before I imported the new data. Help!
