Not an expert, but I encountered this problem today
Have you recently upgraded Firewall? Have just downloaded Zone Alarm Pro and had same problem, but with it disabled scanned for updates and downloaded two updates for Office 2000 Pro with no problem
I also get error message telling me that Posting to Forum Unavailable, unless I disable Zone Alarm. Will go back and see if I can change its settings, as it rather defeats the object of a firewall if I have to turn it off for basic tasks.
