Hey, here's how to "delete" the search history in Entourage. In the Search box in Entourage where you see the entries you want to delete just hit the space bar and then enter. Then hit space bar twice and enter, then three times and enter and so on until the search history shows completely empty. I think it only can retain 10 recent searches, so do as many "space(s) + enter" until the drop-down history list is clear.
Took me a while to figure this out, and found your post a few times while I searched for the answer online.

Thanks Diane, that does not clear the History drop down menu in the search bar. This history seems to remember everything that was been entered in the search box regardless of whether it is in my hard drive (or anywhere else) or not. <br>
I am looking for the equivalent of "clear history data" in firefox, or Intenet explorer. Or even the option to erase manually the latest searches from Google. <br>

I am a bit confused if this is an Entourage specific or a general Mac
question. This newsgroup is for the discussion of Microsoft Entourage. I
need you to be more specific, but it sounds like you could be wanting to
delete the system caches that would store this info. The Apple Discussions
