Search Issue

Hi,

I have created a form. In the past to search on a client number all I had to
do is place the cursor in the field and us "Find and Replace" to search for
that client number.

Now for some reason when I place my cursor in the field it changes to 0 and
stays 0 unless I undo. Any ideas?

You did not say what the DataType the field was.

"unless I undo" does not say what action was taken. Is it clicking in
another field? Does the data display the orignal information?

Check the table. You may have entered 'default value 0' in the table by
accident (happened to me several times). Or else, fix and repair database. If
this doesn't help, create a new database and copy all the content from the
current database.
