Has anyone else run across an issue when your search in Outlook 2007 includes
punctuation and it ignores the punctuation?
As a specific example, when searching for the virus name
"Downloader-BAI.sys.gen.a", it will find a message that includes "downloader"
"bai" "sys" "gen" and "a", but not necessarily in that order or with that
punctuation. This means that you can get false positives when you happen to
have any other words in the message that include the "a".
Is there any way to tweak the search options in OLK2007 so that it will not
ignore the order of the search phrase or the punctuation? I thought that
maybe once Desktop Search was installed that this might rectify the issue,
but it has not done so.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
