search macro in query

I need some help to create a macro that will search for specific codes in my
database, and bring up the detailsthat those codes contain.
There are postcodes that are duplicated, but the information they contain is
different to each postcode. I am trying to build a macro that will give me a
pop up box asking for the specific postcode i am looking for, and then give
me all the postcodes I input, with the information that is in the query i've
created.
Can anyone help me?

I'm just a beginner at this, but couldn't you just create a parameter query
with something like this in it?

Like [Postcode?]
