search mail by attachment type

Hi,

Is it possible to search email by attachment type? I know there is a way to
sort out messages with attachments, but I am looking for a way to filter out
those results on a particular attachment file type (specifically, for
pictures).

Version?

Yes and no depending on version. It's not 100% accurate, especially with
embedded attachments, and may not find all the messages with the attachment.
