Start - Search - entered search criteria - CRASH

Anyone know the fix. I got the run around with MS tech support. I'm about to
reformat my pc and start over "again". It's funny how fragle this platform
is. Is this why people are going to MAC?

I think you should try posting your question the appropriate Windows
newsgroup.

Maybe you could help me find one. This was the closest thing I could find
(staying within microsoft.com)

I don't know which version of Windows you have.

Side note - My search operation worked fine until I loaded OFFICE 2003. Maybe
this is a common problem for Office users and would be a "great" listing in
the GENERAL OFFICE questions section. It is inappropriate, unless it's
appropriate, JoAnn.

I would still start with Windows. And appropriate Windows group means
Windows XP Pro, Windows XP Home, Windows 98SE - not that the Office group is
inappropriate.
