I have studied the .client and .extensions newsgroups with similar problmes
but not this exact problem

http://www.dpfwiw.com/search.htm

when submitted, results in

Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page:
http://www.dpfwiw.com/search.htm

Index Server is running an enabled, other FP Extension-reliant (design time)
controls are working.

w2003/IIS 6.0/FP2002 extensions
FP 2003 client on WXP Pro.

web is on d:\ drive not in c:\inetpub. does this matter?

Thanks.

Try creating a new page, with no other content but the search component directly on the live/remote
site and test.

did that before:

http:/dpfwiw.com/test.htm

and just did it again after removing and reinstalling extensions:

http:/dpfwiw.com/test2.htm

Both created without modificatin using the template.

Thanks, andy more ideas appreciated.

Richard.

Richard, remove the header and footer ad from the page as well.

If that doesn't solve the problem, you might want to post to the Windows Server or Index Server
newsgroup because something is not configured correctly.

Index server is running. But, has a catalog been built for the site?

Yes, and using Index Server manager I can "Query Catalog" and it returns
correct results from the web site.
