Search Results with FRAMES site - messy looking screen

Allan

Added a Search box to our Intranet.

Search results shows correct info.

However, the web site uses Frames (Header, Left Menu and main panel), and
the search results screen shows in the main panel but with the wrong
background format.

The main panel usualy has no background, just plain white. But the seacrh
results shows the background image from the left frame menu ?

The FP search component will always show the results of the search on the same page that the search
phrase was entered on.

That is one of the pitfalls of using frames
- neither the FP search or web searches understand them unless you build your entire site in dynamic framesets (see
http://javascript.internet.com/navigation/dynamic-frameset.html)
