Searching a backup prog for ALL (!) Outlook data.

I am searching a backup program which helps me to backup and restore really all
data components of all version of Outlook.

The most backup programs I have seen so far have restrictions: They...
- either are only suitable to Outlook or Outlook Express
- either are for Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2000
- either backup messages only or address book entries only.

Is there a program which handles really all these components?

What components are you looking for?
Outlook Express isn't related to Outlook, so unless you're using OE, that's
not a concern.
In OL2002 and up, all your data & rules are in a PST file (or multiple ones,
if you set it up like that or use autoarchive), so you can just close
Outlook and back up your PST file to wherever you wish. It doesn't include
mail profiles/accounts, though. That isn't usually too much of a concern for
me, but it might be for you if you have a gazillion email accounts
configured. In OL2000 and earlier, everything above applies except for
rules, I believe.
If you use OL2003 and the new unicode (large file) format for your PST, you
can't open it in anything other than OL2003 - it is not backwards
compatible.

I backup my whole drive once a week to a image file, which when compressed
fits onto a DVD, I also have a batch file running to make a backup of all
important folders such as outlook data folders each time I reboot my PC,
works very well for me, no programs needed.
